We are looking for a Utility Technician to join our team
Primary Duties And Accountabilities
- Performs repair and maintenance work on buildings and grounds, services and maintains doors, walls, windows, lighting, and painting in power block.
- Performs minor rigging, scaffolding, hoist inspections, and insulation/asbestos, and
- Performs labor required to support building and facility maintenance.
- Performs tool room responsibilities: i.e. issuance of tools and test equipment
- Operates forklift as required
Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to obtain unescorted Nuclear access
- Ability to work different shifts and travel to various power plants
- Ability to pass MASS pre-employment testing
- Ability to successfully complete the training requirements for a Utility Technician
- Previous power plant experience or industrial maintenance experience in HVAC, installation and removal experience scaffolding, or tool room experience.
- And one of the following:
- Satisfactory completion of Navy Nuclear program or technical maintenance experience in the
applicable field OR
- Associates Degree in a technical field or post-secondary trade school program. OR
- High School Diploma and Relevant Industrial Training and Experience
