Job Summary And Qualifications
Performs general, routine maintenance and servicing operations to maintain the hospital buildings and equipment for Swedish Medical Center and those facilities owned and operated by the hospital, in accordance with applicable codes, laws and accreditation standards. Responsible for a designated portion of these buildings, including assigned preventative maintenance and daily non-scheduled work requests. Covers all areas of the facility when on-call, weekend rotation or as assigned. Maintains plumbing systems for domestic water, heating and cooling water, medical gas systems and storm drains. Maintains repairs and relocates existing piping valves and fixtures. Other related duties as required or assigned by supervisor.
What qualifications you will need:
- Colorado State Master’s or Journeyman’s License
- 5 years hospital experience preferred
- Good mechanical aptitude with supportive technical knowledge in one or more of the following areas: plumbing, refrigeration, electrical, steam and heat generation or general mechanical
- Plumbing certificate from an approved school
