Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join our team. As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with educators to support the educational and developmental needs of students. This is a paid position that offers valuable experience in the field of education.
Responsibilities:
– Assist teachers in implementing lesson plans and educational activities
– Provide individualized attention and support to students
– Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment
– Collaborate with teachers to assess student progress and provide feedback
– Assist with classroom management and behavior management strategies
– Support students with special needs, including those with autism or other learning challenges
– Help create and maintain a safe and clean classroom environment
– Assist with administrative tasks as needed
Requirements:
– Passion for education and working with children
– Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
– Experience working with children, preferably in an educational setting
– Knowledge of special education practices and strategies is a plus
– Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
– Patience, empathy, and understanding towards students’ individual needs
– Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic classroom environment
