We are looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to join our team
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or another quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 7 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, consulting, a related function, or an advanced degree.
- Experience with data analytics.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with compensation management tools (e.g., Anaplan, SAP, OIC, Xactly) and reporting.
- Experience in utilizing SQL to extract, manipulate, and analyze quantitative datasets.
- Experience with spreadsheet and data analysis tools, with the ability to build financial models.
- Excellent analytical and financial modeling skills, with knowledge of sales compensation plans and incentive programs.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to oversee projects, apply project management methodologies, and ensure completion.
Responsibilities
- Own and optimize operational expenses for cloud sales compensation and incentive programs, analyze sales performance data to identify trends and inform strategic decisions on program design.
- Become a subject matter expert in compensation systems and processes, and build an understanding of data sources for business growth, bookings, and payout rules.
- Collaborate with Sales, Sales Operations, and Systems teams to ensure efficient program execution and coordination between systems and processes.
- Own monthly, quarterly, and annual financial cycles, including forecasting, accruals, and reporting, develop financial models for accurate expense forecasting and accrual management, provide data-driven recommendations to executives on business performance drivers, resource planning, and go-to-market strategies.
- Coordinate with Controllership, Payroll, and Sales Compensation teams for reconciliations and reporting, partner with Cloud Systems and Engineering to optimize processes, define requirements, and test new systems.
