Grange School is seeking to appoint a teacher for students aged 4-19 years, who have a range of special educational needs. We welcome applications from Teachers who have experience in SEN schools who have the capacity to develop their skills quickly. This position offers an exciting and challenging opportunity to join the inspiring and highly skilled team at Grange School. We are looking for a Teacher who is an outstanding classroom practitioner. This position is to start in January 2025.

Main purpose of the job

The post holder is required to fulfil the professional responsibilities which are common to all classroom teachers in the school, as outlined in the current School Teachers’ Pay and Conditions Document.

These detail the professional and particular duties required of teachers, together with requirements for management time, working time, guaranteed planning and preparation time. The school complies with these requirements in order to make reasonable demands of teachers.

The post holder’s key responsibilities will be improving the standards of learning and raising levels of student achievement for all students in their care.

Key relationships

The post holder is accountable to a nominated Senior Leader and to the Headteacher.
