We are looking for an Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our team

Key Responsibilities:

  • ● Staff Management: Assist in hiring, training, and supervising restaurant staff. Promote teamwork and a sense of ownership among all employees.
  • ● Team Building: Bring the team together by fostering a positive and inclusive work environment. Encourage collaboration and communication to ensure that all staff feel valued and proud of their contributions.
  • ● Customer Service: Be present on the floor to inspire and motivate the team, ensuring guests have the best possible experience. Promote a culture where staff can be themselves while delivering exceptional service
  • ● Event Planning: Take charge of planning, organizing, and executing events, including private parties and themed nights. Generate creative ideas to attract guests and enhance the dining experience.
  • ● Operations Support: Collaborate with the Restaurant Manager and management team to manage daily operations, including inventory management, ordering supplies, and maintaining cleanliness.
  • ● Financial Management: Help monitor financial performance, including sales and expenses. Assist in preparing reports and identifying areas for improvement to support growth.
  • ● Compliance: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as restaurant policies and procedures.
  • ● Marketing Initiatives: Work with the marketing team to promote events and the new bar through social media, email campaigns, and local partnerships.

Skills

  • Strong supervisory skills with experience in managing teams in the food service or hospitality sectors.
  • Knowledge of restaurant management practices and principles.
  • Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
  • Experience in bartending or knowledge of beverage service is a plus.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills for interacting with staff and customers alike.
  • Familiarity with kitchen operations and food safety standards.
  • Previous experience in interviewing candidates for various positions within the restaurant.
