We are looking for a Security/Network Product Verification Engineer to join our team
Desired Skills:
- Ability to develop and program test automation scripts for operation testing, Python programming language is an asset.
- Be able to execute test procedures at a technical level and assess impact at system level.
- Knowledge of optical networking and associated network level concepts.
- Knowledge of Security concepts such as AAA (Authentication, Authorization and Accounting) Security Framework, Encryption Key Models, Secure Logging, Secure Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) processes, vulnerability assessments and threat modeling. Exposure to Penetration Test methodologies would be an asset.
- Knowledge of packet and network level concepts and protocols such as IPv4/IPv6, TCP/IP, WANs, V/LANs, subnetting, HTTP/S, S/FTP, SSL/TLS/SSH, DNS, OSPF, BGP. Exposure to Cisco or Juniper would be an asset.
- Knowledge of North Bound user interfaces such as CLI, NETCONF, REST, gRPC etc. as well as Network Management Systems.
- Ability to work in teams, to learn and have a good work ethic
- Ability to communicate and document technical issues and to summarize information into formal test reports.
- Ability to understand customer’ perspective with a strong commitment to product excellence.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Education/Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent
- One or more of the following Certifications or equivalent would be an asset:
- Cisco CCNA or CCNP
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
- CompTIA Security + or PenTest+
- Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)
