We are looking for full-time construction workers/laborers in Wylliesburg VA who have experience in:
- following instructions to complete assignments in a timely and efficient manner
- carrying, loading, unloading, and organizing construction materials
- performing carpentry, electrical, plumbing, sheathing and/or other specialized skills as overseen by a construction supervisor
- Building wooden structures such as roof components, rafters, partition walls, floors, etc.
- Roofing, including sheathing and shingle installation
- Installing cabinets, shelving, vanities, drywall and insulation
- Installing flooring, ceramic, stairs
- Plumbing – rough in and fixtures
- Electrical work – rough in and finish work
- Adding fixtures and fittings such as lights, door handles, locks, hinges and closures
- Reading production orders and building plans to fulfill customer expectations
- Sanding and Painting
- Installing baseboard and ceiling trim, exterior/interior doors, windows, and siding
- HVAC installation
- Finish work – spackling, painting trim, cleaning, prepping modules for delivery and customer’s first impressions
Applicants must:
- be able to physically stand, bend, squat, and lift up to 50 pounds
- be able to work independently or as part of a team
- maintain a regular, dependable attendance record
- be able to work variable hours which may include some weekends and overtime
