We are looking for a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team

Required Qualifications:

Completion of diploma from an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology (NMT) program. Active or eligible for registration with the Alberta College of Medical Diagnostic & Therapeutic Technologists (ACMDTT).

Additional Required Qualifications:

Member in good standing and current registration with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT). Minimum of five years’ experience as a technologist in Nuclear Medicine and PET. Prior experience facilitating, instructing, developing learning, precepting and/or teaching. Practical experience with Diagnostic Imaging quality initiatives.
Work effectively both independently and within a team environment. Experience collaborating and working effectively with technical, medical and administrative personnel, and fostering relationships and partnerships with internal and external stakeholders. Coaching and mentoring skills to foster an environment of collaboration and effective teamwork. Strong, adaptive communication skills utilizing a variety of modalities (verbal, written, active listening).
Proficient computer skills (experience with Microsoft Office Suite [MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint]). Strong organizational skills with the ability to plan, prioritize workload, and balance competing demands. Evidence of thoroughness, concern for accuracy, and attention to detail in performing tasks. Compassionate and caring attitude, and focused patient and family-centered care. Travel will be required, must possess valid driver’s license to conduct business at any AHS site.
