We are looking for a DZ Driver Flatbed Tow driver to join our team
Duties
*Pick up and Delivery of new and used cars from dealers, Auctions, Private customers
* Operate and drive heavy trucks to transport freight to designated locations.
* Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
* Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling of materials.
* Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of hours driven, mileage, and fuel consumption.
* Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered on the road.
* Adhere to all local, state, and federal transportation laws and regulations.adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations. This role requires a strong commitment to delivering high-quality service and maintaining the integrity of the freight being transported.
* Assist in basic maintenance tasks on the vehicle, including routine checks and minor repairs.
Skills
* Proficient in commercial driving with a valid commercial driver’s license (CDL).
* Experience in freight handling and transportation logistics.
* Familiarity with automotive repair techniques for basic vehicle maintenance.
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices while on the road.
*Strong attention to detail and commitment to doing complete vehicle inspections
* Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients.
