Responsibilities
- Works on small to medium projects to develop data applications as a team member
- Assists other data engineers on support and development
- Collaborates with internal stakeholders
- Understanding of relational database concepts with a solid knowledge of star schema, Oracle, SQL, PL/SQL, SQL Tuning, OLAP, Big Data technologies, SnowFlake
- Intermediate to advanced skills in python, Pytorch,tensorflow and other deep learning frameworks
- Understanding of Hadoop ecosystem
- Experience in Cerner or EPIC is bonus
- Experience with cloud technologies is a plus
- Expert in working with large databases, BI applications, data quality, and performance tuning
- Excellent communication skills, ability to work individually and in a broader geographically dispersed team
- Understanding of data gathering, inspecting, cleansing, transforming, and modeling/diagramming techniques
- Willing to be on call to troubleshoot problems during off hours with experience in Data Platform Support
- Remote eligible.

Qualifications
- Requires a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Technology, Medical, or Business discipline or equivalent experience.
- 0-2 years relevant experience required
- 2+ Years preferred
- 0-2 years experience with scripting(Shell, Python)
- 0-2 years of experience in Data Platform Support
