Construction Journeyman Electrician

We are looking for a Construction Journeyman Electrician to join our team

Qualifications

Red Seal Journeyman Electrician
5 – 10 years experience as an electrician performing electrical construction, maintenance and installation in an Oilfield environment.
Possess a high degree of initiative, creativity, communication skills, self-supervision, and respect for safety requirements.
Be a team player and work closely with maintenance, production, engineering and outside services.
Have a flexible work schedule – shift work, overtime and weekends and schedule changes are routine and required aspects of this position.
Be proficient in fundamentals of lockout/tagout.
Have a knowledge or ability to interpret the Canadian Electric Code.
Be able to understand a project request from upper management, lay it out, determine and order materials needed and be responsible for successful completion and start-up.
Possess the ability to read electrical schematics, diagrams, and blueprints.
Be experienced in performing preventive maintenance tasks, taking corrective action for repairs, and be knowledgeable in electrical equipment installations.
Have experience with AC & DC motors and drives.
Understand P&ID’s.
Be able to climb ladders.
