We are looking for a pharmacist to join our team.
Duties
- Review and interpret medication orders to ensure accuracy and appropriateness for patients.
- Provide patient counselling on medication administration, potential side effects, and drug interactions.
- Monitor patient medication therapy and make recommendations for adjustments as needed.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers to develop comprehensive treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate records of medication dispensation and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
- Educate patients and their families about medications.
- Stay updated on new medications, therapies, and medical terminology relevant to acute care settings.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and medication management processes.
Requirements
- Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) or Bachelor of Pharmacy degree from an accredited institution.
- Valid pharmacist license in the province of Saskatchewan.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, pharmacology, and medication administration protocols.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient care and education.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced healthcare environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Store Hours: Monday to Friday 9am-6pm Saturday 12-5pm Closed Sunday/Stat Holidays
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $55.00-$65.00 per hour
Expected hours: 24 – 40 per week
