Pediatric Nurse

EDUCATION:

 Graduate of an approved Registered Nursing Program.

EXPERIENCE:

 Minimum three years recent clinical experience required.

OTHER:

 Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

 Commitment to care through a family centered approach.

 Advanced clinical knowledge in subspecialty.

 Commitment to maintaining current knowledge in area of expertise through reviewing literature and attending continuing education in-services, workshops, and conferences.

 Expertise and competence in interviewing, counselling, teaching and group dynamics.

 Ability to work independently but collaboratively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary team members.

 Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with referring physicians, nurses, and community members.

 Displays initiative, accountability, good time management, decision-making ability, leadership, and strong organizational skills.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS:

 Good physical and mental health.

 Moderate physical effort required.

 May be required to work flexible hours.

LICENCES, REGISTRATIONS:

 Responsible for holding an active license as a RN or LPN in Manitoba.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $30.00 per hour
