Radiologic Tech – PRN

Travel will be required between our Concord, Huntersville & Midtown Charlotte locations. Successful candidates:

  • Completed an accredited radiography education program.
  • Current registration with American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiography.
  • CPR/BLS Certification.
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment, use critical thinking skills, show initiative, planning, possess excellent communication skills, and work effectively on a team.
Responsibilities:
  • Adjusts c-arm fluoroscopic equipment during procedures in conjunction with and in response to the physician while following all safety protocols.
  • Administers diagnostic x-rays; adjusts equipment, determines proper exposure technique and time, arranges immobilization and support devices, properly adjusts shielding to protect patients, and insures images are captured correctly and accurately per physician instructions.
  • Understands and uses the PACS system.
  • Maintains related information in patient EMR charts with proper coding.
  • Adheres to all CCSS processes and HIPAA regulations.
  • Works with our in-house health care team consisting of Neurosurgeons, Physiatrists, and Physician Assistants to deliver excellent patient care.
  • Other duties as assigned by changing needs, patient flow, or physician request.
Experience: Minimum 2 years as a Radiologic Technologist working in an OR and/or Fluoroscopy.

Hours: PRN/Flex – Must be available during these Hours – Monday – Friday 730am – 5pm

Minimum 2 days a month
