The Role
As a per diem sonographer, you will be responsible for performing ultrasound imaging procedures and applying high-frequency sound waves to produce static, real-time, and Doppler images/waveforms of the internal human anatomy. Your skill as a sonographer will directly impact the quality of images produced, aiding in the accurate diagnosis and treatment of diseases and pathology.

Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Perform ultrasound imaging procedures with precision and accuracy.
- Apply high-frequency sound waves to produce static, real-time, and Doppler images/waveforms.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and carry out policies and procedures in accordance with regulatory bodies.
- Operate equipment safely to produce optimal images.
- Maintain professional relationships with fellow employees, other departments, and medical staff.
Qualifications
To excel in this role, you’ll need:
- Certification as a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS).
- Proficiency in performing a variety of ultrasound imaging procedures.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to establish rapport with patients and colleagues.
