Job description
We are looking for a motivated, experienced Restaurant/Bakery Manager to oversee operations during designated shifts, supervise employees, and ensure that our customers receive outstanding service. The shift leader’s responsibilities include creating a shift schedule, inventory management, ordering supplies, dealing with no-shows, delegating tasks, handling cash-ups, and reporting any issues to operations.
To be successful as a Restaurant Manager, you should be able to manage a team of people and ensure that all duties are performed accurately. A manager should be able to ensure smooth and efficient workflows.
Manager Responsibilities:
· Managing employees, assigning duties, and creating a shift schedule.
· Monitoring team performance and ensuring duties are performed efficiently.
· Reporting any issues that arise during the shift to management.
· Ensuring compliance with company policies, health, and safety standards.
· Coaching team members and training new staff.
· General cleaning of front-of-house machines daily
· Opening and closing registers, accounting for the daily intake.
· Handling customer issues and employee disputes.
Education/Experience:
· High school diploma/GED
· Food Handlers Certification
· At least 1 year experience as a Restaurant or Bakery Manager or in a similar role.
· Experience creating shift schedules.
· Excellent communication and people skills.
· Strong leadership and organizational skills.
· Confident analytical person.
· Collaborator.
