We are seeking a keen and creative fungi-loving Marketing Manager to join us at Bristol Fungarium. In this role, you will support the development and implementation of strategies to promote our high-strength, comprehensively extracted medicinal mushroom tinctures, as well as complimentary products such as chocolate, RTD’s and merch. You will be responsible for the production and management of content and events designed to educate our audience about the science, benefits, history and folklore of medicinal mushrooms.
This role is 35k (pro rata 3-5 days per week)
Responsibilities:
- Creating engaging content for social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook), website, and email marketing campaigns
- Assist in managing customer inquiries and feedback through various channels
- Help organise and attend promotional events, festivals, trade shows, and workshops to showcase our products and expertise
- Collaborate with the wider team to gather information about our mushroom cultivation processes for marketing purposes
- Support the development and maintenance of relationships with influencers, bloggers, and media contacts in the health and wellness space
- Support the production of offline marketing materials such as brochures, information sheets, product labels and packaging
- Monitor and analyse marketing campaign performance using various analytics
- Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities
- Help maintain an organised database of marketing assets
Requirements:
- Minimum 4 years experience in Marketing or a related field
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Creativity and ability to think outside the box
- Proficiency in Mailchimp, Meta, Google platforms, Canva and WordPress
- Basic understanding of SEO and digital marketing principles
- Decent organisational and multitasking skills
- Interest in mushrooms, natural health / herbalism, wellness, foraging, sustainable agriculture
- Knowledge of and/or enthusiasm to learn about medicinal mushrooms and their benefits
Very useful bonuses:
- Experience in the natural products or health supplements industry
- Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and online marketing strategies
- Basic graphic design skills (e.g. Adobe Creative Suite)
- Understanding of FDA regulations regarding marketing of dietary supplements
- A drivers licence
