Salary: £30,000 – £40,000

Location: Witham, Essex (On-site only)

Holidays: 28 Days (Incl. Bank Holidays) – Increasing by 1 day per full calendar year worked (maximum of 33 days per annum).

About the Marketing Manager Role

This includes:

  • Strategic Planning of Marketing Campaigns: With a deep understanding of our ICP, you shall be tasked with developing, and deploying, multi-channel marketing campaigns, tracking performance and collaborating with the Sales & Marketing Director to drive lead generation.
  • Website Management:With a newly launched website, we’re keen to significantly increase the amount of relevant traffic landing on our site (and of course, making enquiries). As such you shall be responsible for monitoring user engagement and experience, to enhance the UX and ROI along with implementing SEO best practices throughout the site and with new content that is published. Given this, as part of your requirements, you will need to possess demonstrable knowledge of digital marketing tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Google Ads, Hotjar and SEMrush.
  • Social Media Management:In addition to creating content for the website, Social Media platforms shall require high-quality and engaging content for prospects and clients to engage with. Our current social media presence resides within LinkedIn, and therefore a deep understanding of both organic and paid content shall be essential. Social media shall be one of your responsibilities, with a keen aspiration to become thought leaders, we want to optimise the content published along with encouraging the community to engage with posts enhancing audience engagement.
  • Content Creation: As our marketing strategy develops, we’re looking to broaden the content that we’re publishing as thought leaders within the industry. Our goal is to become the “go to place” for prospects looking to understand how we can work with them in helping to achieve their desired growth trajectory. As such, content developed will need to be engaging and rich in the form of:
  • SEO Optimised, relevant content, blogs and articles that engages our target audience.
  • Thought-provoking, insightful and impactful Whitepapers and Marketing Reports.
  • Email Marketing:Engaging with both existing clients and new prospects, you shall be responsible for developing, implementing and managing all email marketing campaigns and content. In addition, monitoring email performance and key metrics along with suggesting improvements to enhance engagement.

 

As we develop our thought leadership marketing stance, we’re looking to you to maintain and grow email lists (whilst remaining fully compliant). Ultimately allowing you to send relevant content that resonates with our audiences, keeping existing clients and prospects that require nurturing engaged with our brand, and new prospects keen to making inbound enquiries!

Whilst these are just some of the metrics currently deployed as part of our marketing strategy, we’re absolutely keen for someone to join our team and bring their own spin on things too!

So, what are we looking for?

We’re looking for a proactive, experienced and creative Marketing Manager to join our growing team. If you possess the following skillsets, we want to hear from you!

  • Proficient in the use of marketing tools such as Google Ads, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Canva, Hotjar, SEMrush.
  • Experienced in analysing data to understand what is working well, what needs improvement and then developing a strategy to make effective change.
  • Experience in content management systems (ideally WordPress), and CRM management (we use Pipedrive).
  • A proven track record of generating high-quality sales leads that sales can convert into profitable clients.
  • Budget management.
  • Typically candidates with a minimum of 3 years working within the marketing sector will have enough experience, although this is not a prerequisite, ideally some or all of this will be in the B2B industry.
  • A solid understanding of digital marketing including SEO, SEM and Web Analytics.
  • Knowledgeable in developing email marketing strategies that engage existing clients, nurture prospects and generate inbound enquiries.
  • The ability to develop high-quality, engaging content in the form of Blogs, Social Posts, Whitepapers and Marketing Reports that positions The Lead Gen Specialists as a thought leader within the lead generation sector.
