Management Accountant – Sheffield
Salary: £40,000 – £45,000pa
Elevation Senior Finance are delighted to be the retained recruitment partner to Hydrainer Pumps as they look to recruit a Management Accountant for their finance team.
Responsibilities will include:
- Manage 2 staff members – payroll/credit control & purchase ledger
- Assist in the preparing of monthly management accounts
- Variance analysis
- Assist with budgeting schedules/forecasting
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Maintain prepayments and accruals schedules
- Reconcile intercompany transactions
- Prepare bi-weekly sales reports
- Ad-hoc reports/analysis
- Maintain fixed asset schedules
- Process monthly payroll and oversee weekly payroll
- Benefit in kind and P11d submission
- Process payroll year end
- Prepare fuel adjustment and associated VAT
- Maintain Hire Purchase schedules
- Process weekly supplier payments
- Batch and upload sales invoices
- Prepare and submit VAT returns
- Calculate and maintain customer rebates schedule
Key Skills / qualifications
- CIMA / ACCA qualified or qualified by experience
- Experience of supporting the month-end process
- Strong analytical skills
- Experience of Sage 200 preferred but not essential
It is expected that the successful candidate will take on additional responsibilities over time and will ultimately have the opportunity to progress into a Finance Manager role.
