CORE RESPONSIBILITES:

Local Market Analysis:

  • Conduct market research
  • identify opportunities for growth
  • develop and execute marketing plans tailored to the regional market

Campaign Development:

  • Partner with the Creative team to design effective marketing materials
  • Collaborate with the Marketing team to ensure alignment in overall brand strategy
  • Design and implement marketing campaign

Event Planning and Execution:

  • Plan and coordinate local events, community engagement and promotional activities
  • Manage logistics, budgets and execution
  • Coordinate the promotion of local events and engagement via social media

Partnerships and Networking:

  • Build and maintain relationships with local partners, influencers and community organizations
  • Leverage partnerships to enhance brand presence and drive new customer generation
  • Regularly distribute marketing materials to local business partners

Budget Management:

  • Manage and allocate the regional marketing budget efficiently
  • Track expenditures and ensure all activities are cost effective
  • Work with Center Managers to determine optimal field marketing initiatives

Performance Tracking:

  • Continuous monitoring of KPI’s and results
  • Weekly business reviews with manager
  • Produce results effectively in a fast-paced environment with an action-oriented mindset.

REQUIREMENTS:

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelors’ degree or 3+ years experience in Pet Care, Hospitality, or Sales
  • Experience with Field Marketing, Regional Marketing, or a territory Sales Position
  • Proven and documented record of meeting and exceeding goals
  • Experience with launching marketing and/or sales campaigns
  • Experience working in a role with matrix structured leadership

Skills:

  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in marketing software and tools (e.g., CRM, email marketing platforms, social media management)
  • Ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions
  • Must be a fast learner, and possess a strong sense of urgency
  • Ability to foster ongoing collaborative relationships cross functionally with field leadership and support center personnel

Other:

  • Must be passionate and knowledgeable about pets!
  • Willingness to travel 50%-75% to centers within designated region
  • Must have reliable transportation and clean driving record
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed for events and campaigns
  • Must be able to stand, sit, and walk for long periods of time and lift at least 40lbs
  • Must be able to work in an environment with exposure to disinfectant/sanitation chemicals, animal dander and excretions.
