CORE RESPONSIBILITES:
Local Market Analysis:
- Conduct market research
- identify opportunities for growth
- develop and execute marketing plans tailored to the regional market
Campaign Development:
- Partner with the Creative team to design effective marketing materials
- Collaborate with the Marketing team to ensure alignment in overall brand strategy
- Design and implement marketing campaign
Event Planning and Execution:
- Plan and coordinate local events, community engagement and promotional activities
- Manage logistics, budgets and execution
- Coordinate the promotion of local events and engagement via social media
Partnerships and Networking:
- Build and maintain relationships with local partners, influencers and community organizations
- Leverage partnerships to enhance brand presence and drive new customer generation
- Regularly distribute marketing materials to local business partners
Budget Management:
- Manage and allocate the regional marketing budget efficiently
- Track expenditures and ensure all activities are cost effective
- Work with Center Managers to determine optimal field marketing initiatives
Performance Tracking:
- Continuous monitoring of KPI’s and results
- Weekly business reviews with manager
- Produce results effectively in a fast-paced environment with an action-oriented mindset.
REQUIREMENTS:
Education & Experience:
- Bachelors’ degree or 3+ years experience in Pet Care, Hospitality, or Sales
- Experience with Field Marketing, Regional Marketing, or a territory Sales Position
- Proven and documented record of meeting and exceeding goals
- Experience with launching marketing and/or sales campaigns
- Experience working in a role with matrix structured leadership
Skills:
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in marketing software and tools (e.g., CRM, email marketing platforms, social media management)
- Ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions
- Must be a fast learner, and possess a strong sense of urgency
- Ability to foster ongoing collaborative relationships cross functionally with field leadership and support center personnel
Other:
- Must be passionate and knowledgeable about pets!
- Willingness to travel 50%-75% to centers within designated region
- Must have reliable transportation and clean driving record
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed for events and campaigns
- Must be able to stand, sit, and walk for long periods of time and lift at least 40lbs
- Must be able to work in an environment with exposure to disinfectant/sanitation chemicals, animal dander and excretions.
