etf.com is looking for a Ad Sales Marketing Manager who is highly collaborative, creative, and a strategic thinker to lead our go-to-market efforts. The goal of this position is to build and execute marketing campaigns that are impactful, innovative, and on-brand in collaboration with our sales team. The ideal candidate will be proactive and have a deep understanding of digital business as far as ad sales, brand, and subscription marketing. In addition, experience with user acquisition, newsletter/e-mail marketing is highly preferred. This hybrid role will report to the VP of Sales.

 

Responsibilities

·       Lead brainstorming conversations to develop scalable, multi-platform solutions in response to client RFPs or proactive opportunities

·       Develop custom native campaigns, sponsorships, and activation opportunities to meet client goals

·       Develop and manage comprehensive marketing strategies aimed at acquiring and retaining new individual subscribers and converting registered users to a paid plan.

·       Create all go-to-market sales marketing materials and collateral

·       Meet with sales and other key internal stakeholders regularly to assist with key pitches/clients

·       Accountable for campaign execution post sale for custom campaigns

·       Provide clients with strategic and tactical guidance to achieve online marketing objectives

·       Leverage internal analytics along with industry data and research to craft consumer audience target segments and build optimized media plans

·       Implement and launch campaigns according to client and internal requirements and goals

·       Work with Account Management to measure initial campaign results and re-optimize periodically based on client and etf.com goals

·       Keep abreast of the rapidly evolving technologies and trends in the digital media space

Qualifications

·       Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing

·       3-5+ years related work experience (finance industry experience preferred)

·       Creative problem solver for advertisers and their products

·       Strong written and oral communication skills

·       Solid understanding of the advertising landscape in terms of how data is leveraged and measured

·       Help shape the big picture but can roll up your sleeves to execute on the day-to-day tasks to get the job done

·       Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Suite

·       Strong attention to detail

·       Ability to analyze basic reporting data and industry insights
