Position Overview:
We are seeking a Marketing Account Manager to oversee the development and execution of communications projects, ensuring message and brand consistency across all channels. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for key clients, driving innovative marketing strategies and collaborating closely with creative teams. This position offers the chance to work on high-impact campaigns while building and maintaining strong relationships with clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary Account Manager and communications strategist, guiding the development and implementation of marketing plans for key clients.
- Lead multi-channel creative projects, ensuring consistency in messaging across digital, print, social media, and more.
- Collaborate with copywriters and designers to ensure high-quality, on-strategy execution of all marketing, advertising, and creative development projects.
- Provide strategic recommendations and write creative briefs to guide the creative process.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, maintaining open communication and understanding their business goals, customers, and challenges.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables, ensuring all work is completed on time and within scope.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of account management experience, ideally in an agency or in-house agency-style environment.
- Proven expertise in managing creative projects for multi-channel marketing campaigns.
- Experience writing creative briefs and providing strategic recommendations to both internal and external clients.
- Strong understanding of marketing communications, branding, and advertising.
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, journalism, public relations, or a related field.
- Experience producing integrated campaigns across a variety of media, including digital, print, social media, and video.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint) and work management systems like Workamajig.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a highly matrixed environment.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and resolve issues in a fast-paced setting.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the energy industry is a plus.
- Familiarity with Kanban principles is helpful.
- Strong digital marketing and online channel optimization skills.
