Role Description
We’re looking for a Channel Marketing Manager who can build strong relationships, think analytically, and execute creatively. This role is central to our growth strategy, focusing on establishing strategic partnerships, managing advertising channels, and driving product marketing initiatives. You’ll collaborate across various areas of our business to enhance Lasso MD’s brand presence, generate inbound leads, and contribute to revenue growth. As a key player in our marketing team, you will shape partner campaigns, manage advertising efforts, and ensure our brand messaging resonates with the dental industry.
Why This Role Was Created
As a startup, Lasso is at an inflection point. We have an established customer base of over 500 but are currently rebuilding our sales and marketing department from the ground up. We operate in a defined market size, targeting approximately 100,000 dental practices with around 200,000 key decision-makers. Our vision is to reshape our sales process by creating a robust flow of inbound leads through advertising and strategic partnerships, while relying on a small number of sales reps to close each lead.
Key Responsibilities
Partner Relationship Management
- Strategic Partnerships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key partners and resellers in the dental industry to increase inbound lead flow.
- Communication: Act as the primary liaison for partners, providing them with the tools and information necessary to promote Lasso MD effectively.
- Quarterly Reviews: Conduct performance reviews with partners each quarter to align on goals, share insights, and adjust strategies for maximum impact.
Inbound Lead Generation and Management
- Lead Growth: Increase inbound leads from 15 to 50 per month within six months by leveraging partnerships and advertising channels.
- Lead Quality: Maintain a 30% conversion rate from inbound leads to sales-qualified leads by implementing structured follow-up processes with the sales team.
- Lead Response: Ensure all partner-generated leads receive engagement within one business day to maximize conversion rates.
Analytical Optimization
- CAC Management: Maintain a Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC) of $2,000, allowing for a variance of ±25%.
- CPL Efficiency: Keep the Cost Per Lead (CPL) within $100 to $150, using data-driven insights to refine campaign strategies and partnership performance.
- Monthly Reporting: Provide detailed monthly reports, including CPL, CAC, lead quality, and three actionable recommendations for campaign improvement.
Creative Content Collaboration
- Marketing Assets: Collaborate with our in-house design team to develop compelling marketing collateral tailored for the dental market.
- Brand Consistency: Ensure that all content aligns with Lasso MD’s brand messaging, emphasizing transparency and delivering value to dental practices.
Product Marketing Content
- Go-to-Market Strategy: Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for new products, features, and updates, collaborating with Sales, Client Success, and Product teams to ensure a unified message and smooth product adoption.
- Sales Enablement: Create and maintain a suite of sales enablement materials, including product guides, competitive analyses, FAQs, and case studies, equipping the Sales and Client Success teams with the resources they need to effectively communicate Lasso MD’s unique value propositions.
- Feature Promotion and Adoption: Work with marketing and customer success to promote new products and valuable features, driving customer awareness and adoption through targeted campaigns, educational content, and in-app messaging.
What Success Looks Like
- Inbound-Focused Growth: Successfully increase inbound leads from ~15 leads /mo. to 50 leads /mo., and contribute to a $30,000 boost in Monthly Recurring Revenue (MRR).
- Data-Driven Decisions: Consistently maintain a $2,000 CAC (±25%) and CPL within $100-$150, using data to optimize performance.
- Effective Campaigns: Execute co-branded campaigns that resonate within the dental industry, directly contributing to lead flow and revenue growth.
- Strong Partnerships: Build partnerships that result in measurable lead flow and positive feedback from key partners.
Required Qualifications
- Experience: 3+ years in channel marketing, partner management, or a similar role, with a strong track record in meeting ambitious growth targets.
- Proof: Proven track record of effectively increasing lead flow, managing marketing budgets, and maintaining a healthy Customer Acquisition Costs (CAC).
- Startup Mindset: Comfortable in a fast-paced, evolving environment, contributing to the rebuilding of our sales and marketing department.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in dental or healthcare marketing.
- Proven success in scaling marketing efforts within niche markets.
- Ability to travel for trade shows and partner meetings as needed.
