Job Title: Onboarding/Event Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and customer-focused Onboarding/Event Coordinator to provide operational support for our client’s onboarding programs.
This is an 8-month, fully on-site contract, based in the Central London office. It offers £61.000 per annum, pro rata (PAYE).
The ideal candidate will be passionate about creating exceptional experiences for new hires and will thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. This role focuses on new hire experiences, from pre-start processes to onsite event support, ensuring smooth transitions and positive first impressions for our new team members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the end-to-end onboarding process, from pre-start logistics to post-start follow-up
- Provide event support for onboarding programs, including in-person and virtual sessions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure onboarding activities run smoothly
- Maintain and update onboarding materials, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company standards
- Serve as the primary point of contact for new hires, addressing inquiries and providing exceptional customer service
- Assist with continuous improvement initiatives to streamline onboarding processes
- Coordinate scheduling and logistics for onboarding events and activities
Qualifications:
Required Skills:
- Comfortable learning new tools and becoming an expert user
- Strong written communication skills
- Exceptional customer service, communication, and cross-group collaboration skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment and work through ambiguity
- Project management and process improvement experience
- Excellent time management, attention to detail, and ability to multi-task across concurrent projects
- Ability to work both independently and within a team
- Comfortable with public speaking and large event coordination
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access) and Google Suite
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with employee onboarding/new hire experience
- Event planning experience
- Familiarity with Salesforce and LMS (Learning Management System)
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
