Job Title: Night Sous Chef
Location: 2 Kingdom Street, Paddington
Salary: £38,500
Shift Patterns 22.00pm until 06.30am – Mon-Fri Pattern.
What You’ll Do
- Produce menu items daily to the required standard for the correct numbers and at the appropriate times
- Ensure food is prepared in line with HACCP/Sodexo guidelines and accurately recorded
- Provide prompt and efficient customer service during service hours
- Complete wastage sheets for each service daily
- Maintain hygiene levels in the kitchen and related areas, ensuring all daily documentation is completed
- Place all orders with the nominated supplier
- Assist the Head Chef with buffets/functions, including those outside regular hours
- Support the Head Chef in stock taking and related administrative duties
- Report customer incidents/comments to the Head Chef and assist in documentation
What You Bring
- 706 1 & 2 or equivalent (essential)
- 2 years of previous craft experience or similar
- Reasonable maths skills
- Strong interpersonal skills for building relationships with customers, clients, and colleagues
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise tasks
- Proactive in identifying and communicating potential issues to the Head Chef
