Our organization provides Data and Software solutions for the automotive industry. This is a Remote position that may require up to 20% travel (west coast).

This is an uncapped opportunity to manage the entire sales process from business development prospecting through contract negotiations and signing. We are looking for someone with the ability to forecast, manage sales expenses, and successfully close business. Excellent communication skills and problem-solving ability and a track record of exceeding sales objectives.

This position will not manager or lead, but serve as a Sales Hunter who will reside in the Central or Western continental US, within 30 miles of a major airport.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Align DaaS & SaaS solutions with the customer’s strategic objectives.
  • Primary revenue responsibility for identifying and closing new sales within territory.
  • Account planning and accurate monthly & quarterly revenue forecasting.
  • Maintaining a sales pipeline at least 3X quota.
  • Solid experience selling complex IT solutions based on ROI/business value justification to CRO.
  • Keep accurate and up to date records of all deals in Salesforce CRM
  • Ability to navigate complex organizations and to build trust-based relationships. Be an advocate and effectively translate client requirements to team. Work collaboratively to architect and solution complex proposals.
  • Develop account plans, pursuit strategies, facilitate maximizing revenue opportunities.
  • Up to 20% travel – should live within 30 mins of an airport to travel to industry conferences, QBRs and client meetings as needed
  • Assists sales management in devising strategic account sales plans and strategies.
  • Understanding and selling solutions (ROI) for high level business problems, incorporating sales strategies across large multi divisional matrixed organizations.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 7-10 years’ experience selling enterprise software services, preferably to the Automotive manufacturing or auto parts industry.
  • Demonstrated ability using CRM tools like Salesforce.com.
  • Demonstrated experience executing a complex sales cycle closing deals comprised of software, services, and/or managed services with an average sales price in excess of $300,000.
  • Strong track record of over performance in IC hunter role(s) selling enterprise solutions and securing Net New logo accounts.
  • Daily prospecting experience with a realistic pipeline and active appointment sales funnel
  • Secures meetings with prospects & qualifies new business opportunities
  • Experienced reaching out to and connecting with CEOs, COO’s, VPs
  • Experienced running your own sales desk independently as an IC, not needing approval or significant oversight on how to prospect and not needing lead generation
  • High energy, highly self-motivated, enthusiastic, creative, not easily discouraged, and independent.
