ECCO Select is looking for an Email Specialist/Developer who has experience with building, managing and implementing email content from creative designs to a fully functioning result. As an Email Specialist/Developer you are expected to leverage your digital, technical, and business skills to successfully execute client’s email needs and expectations. You will serve as a client-facing email development consultant working with other Email Specialists/Developers, Implementation Consultants, Campaign Managers, Project Manager, and the creative team to meet client’s goals.
Responsibilities:
- Email development, including coding emails using HTML and CSS for deployment in SFMC.
- Build and edit dynamic emails with personalization using AMPscript and SSJS.
- Manage existing custom email templates and modules, and well as create new one as needed according to brand guidelines.
- Troubleshoot and address rendering issues.
- Conducting rendering testing across email clients and mobile devices via Litmus or Email on Acid.
- Manage and update Email Repository of all emails in client’s SFMC account.
- Review client designs to perform feasibility assessments and provide insights for email design best practices.
- Manage and improve build processes to streamline for faster execution and email updates.
- Expected to demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with the internal team as well as clients and other vendors.
- Work closely with team or independently on projects with minimal supervision.
Qualifications and Experience:
- At least 5 years in front-end development with strong hand coding skills using HTML, CSS, and AMP Script.
- Ideal candidate has strong understanding of best practice for consistency across different email clients as well as responsive design.
- 3+ years of experience in SFMC with experience building custom templates and working with content modules.
- Working knowledge of JavaScript and SSJS.
- Experience with email rendering testing tools such as Litmus or Email on Acid.
- SFMC certification is preferred.
- Experienced in email automation (journey, automation, and triggers) and data implementation (SQL) preferred.
