We are seeking an experienced and motivated Cafe Kitchen Manager to oversee the daily operations of our small cafe in Goodyear, AZ! The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, excellent organizational skills, a leadership mindset, and the ability to provide great customer service. This role involves managing a small fast-casual cafe operation, overseeing of a staff of 7+ employees, ensuring food quality and safety, and maintaining costs in line with budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership and Staff Management:
- Supervise and train staff to ensure efficient and effective operations
- Foster a positive and collaborative team environment
- Schedule shifts and manage staff
- Food Preparation and Quality Control:
- Oversee food preparation, presentation, and portion control to maintain high standards.
- Ensure all food is prepared to meet health and safety regulations.
- Inventory and Supply Management:
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed.
- Manage food cost and minimize waste.
- Operational Efficiency:
- Implement and maintain kitchen processes and procedures.
- Ensure kitchen equipment is maintained and in good working order.
- Customer Service:
- Collaborate with staff to ensure timely and quality service.
- Address any customer concerns or feedback related to kitchen operations.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Kitchen Manager or similar role in a fast-paced environment.
- Some fast-casual experience is preferred
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Compensation & Benefits:
- $70,000-$75,000 base salary + quarterly bonus potential
