Essential Functions:

Develop and maintain schematic symbols for the Electrical Computer-Aided Design (ECAD) library using component vendor data sheets.

Design and update solder pad footprints for the ECAD library, ensuring compliance with vendor data sheets and IPC standards.

Create and manage 3D models of ECAD library components for integration with Mechanical Engineering.

Ensure all designs adhere to manufacturing and assembly requirements.
Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of four (4) years of relevant experience.

Graduate degree with at least two (2) years of related experience.

In lieu of a degree, a minimum of eight (8) years of relevant experience.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications:

Experience working with ECAD libraries or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience in ECAD.

Associate degree or certificate in Graphics Technology or Engineering Technology (preferred but not required).

Proficiency in ECAD software applications and related PC equipment. Experience with Mentor Xpedition®, Siemens NX, and Siemens Teamcenter is highly desirable.

Strong knowledge of electrical components, vendor data sheets, and electrical schematics.

Familiarity with industry standards, including IPC for design and ASME/ANSI for documentation (preferred).
