Peraton is looking for a skilled Software/Web Developer to join our fast-paced Agile team. In this role, you’ll play a key part in developing and improving the Object Management Service (OMS)—a state-of-the-art, secure API designed to transform object production and management. Built on a modern architecture of discrete analytics, storage, and data microservices, OMS seamlessly integrates across multiple missions and applications, supporting critical operations.
Your Role
As a Software/Web Developer, you will:
- Work closely with stakeholders, team members, and executives to gather requirements and provide clear project updates.
- Design and enhance web applications using modern frameworks such as Vue, Angular, or React.
- Utilize Agile project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Asana) to effectively manage tasks and deliverables.
- Contribute to the development and optimization of the OMS platform, ensuring high performance, scalability, and seamless integration across various missions.
- Serve as a bridge between technical concepts and effective team communication, fostering smooth and efficient development processes.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) with a minimum of 9 years of relevant experience. An additional 4 years of experience may be considered in place of a degree.
- Security Clearance: Active TS/SCI clearance.
- Core Competencies:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to support effective collaboration and stakeholder engagement.
- In-depth understanding of software development principles and technical concepts to enhance teamwork and execution.
- Hands-on experience working with modern web application frameworks such as Vue, Angular, or React.
- Proficiency in Agile project management tools like Jira, Trello, or Asana for efficient workflow management.
Desired Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps methodologies, including CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments.
- Security+ or DoD 8570 baseline certification.
- Experience using version control systems such as Git.
- Familiarity with SQL and/or NoSQL databases for handling structured and unstructured data.
