Your Role
The Bear Creek School is seeking a dedicated educator to join our teaching team! Teachers at Bear Creek utilize a classical Christian education model to cultivate virtue, inspire learning, and support students in reaching their full potential. Lessons are intentionally designed to engage and motivate students, ensuring they achieve meaningful learning outcomes. We Are Looking for an Educator Who Will:
- Teach and interact with students from a Christian worldview
- Collaborate with grade-level teams and department members to implement the classical curriculum
- Develop engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans that adhere to educational best practices and school guidelines
- Deliver lessons using a variety of teaching techniques to meet the needs of diverse learners
- Prepare instructional materials, assignments, and assessments while providing meaningful feedback to students
- Design and facilitate small-group and one-on-one instruction to personalize learning experiences
- Build strong partnerships with parents through proactive communication
- Establish and maintain a structured, supportive, and engaging classroom environment
- Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, educational conferences, and workshops
- Track student progress through required documentation, including attendance, incident reports, and academic records
- Engage in collaborative evaluation processes with school leadership
- Attend and support school events beyond regular classroom hours, including parent-teacher conferences, curriculum nights, student performances, open houses, and professional development sessions
- Maintain a well-organized, visually inviting learning space
- Perform additional duties as assigned

Required Experience & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (required)
- Teaching certification (preferred)
- Teaching experience (preferred)
- Familiarity with classical education methodology and Christian worldview integration (preferred)
- CPR/AED/First Aid Certification (including Epinephrine Auto Injector supplement) or willingness to obtain certification within 90 days of employment
