Essential Functions:
- Continuously monitor property-level risk for an assigned portfolio of Fannie Mae loans, utilizing both internal and external sources.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for Borrowers, providing prompt and professional customer service to both internal and external clients.
- Identify risk factors and emerging trends, accurately document findings, and develop action plans for lender review.
- Review and approve annual and quarterly financial statements for the assigned portfolio within specified timeframes.
- Conduct and evaluate nationwide property inspections as required, addressing deferred maintenance and any identified issues.
- Analyze portfolio data to identify potential refinancing opportunities and provide recommendations to the Production team.
- Assess and escalate materially declining loans or breaches of loan covenants as necessary.
- Monitor watchlist loans and provide updates to leadership during monthly watchlist meetings.
- Maintain frequent communication with clients regarding operational, physical, economic, and loan covenant matters.
- Properly document loan dynamics, property assessments, and trends in line with JLL best practices.
- Review and approve disbursements from escrow accounts, including replacement reserves, repairs, insurance claims, and rental achievement, ensuring compliance with JLL standards.
- Oversee property management transitions and track insurance loss claims.
- Review and facilitate the onboarding of new loans into the primary servicing system.
- Collaborate with the Transaction Management team to process special client requests, such as transfers, easements, and partial releases, including overflow lender consents when needed.
- Participate in Asset Management-related meetings as required.
- Stay informed on industry developments and regulatory changes.
- Perform additional responsibilities as needed.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Strong analytical, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple transactions under tight deadlines.
- Ability to identify and assess risk effectively.
- Keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
Education & Experience:
- Undergraduate degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5–7 years of experience in real estate, finance, accounting, business, or equivalent professional experience.
