Key Responsibilities
- Perform additional job-related tasks as needed.
- Lead consultative sales efforts for new business and key customer relationships, focusing on high-value clients.
- Develop and execute strategic account plans to maximize business potential, aligning with key objectives such as annual revenue targets, account expansion through new business (MRR), and customer advocacy (NPS).
- Maintain a comprehensive 12-month business plan, including forecasting and reporting frameworks.
- Promote and position the full range of Rackspace solutions, including cloud and application services, to drive business growth and customer retention.
- Establish strong relationships at all levels within customer organizations, gaining deep insight into their business operations, purchasing behavior, and decision-making processes.
- Build Rackspace’s credibility within target organizations, engaging comfortably with leadership teams and key stakeholders.
- Identify and capitalize on opportunities to generate new revenue streams, including joint business development initiatives with enterprise accounts.
- Lead negotiations, manage tender submissions, and facilitate key communications between Rackspace and customers with the highest level of professionalism.
- Stay informed on market trends, industry developments, and internal strategies to identify and act on new business opportunities effectively.
- Collaborate with channel partners and sales representatives to develop and execute joint business plans, driving revenue growth and customer acquisition.
- Ensure compliance with company security policies and procedures.
- Drive revenue growth within the existing customer base.
- Execute new sales opportunities to expand Monthly Recurring Revenue (MRR).
- Establish access to new departments and divisions within target organizations.
- Maintain detailed documentation and track key performance indicators (KPIs) through Salesforce.
Knowledge & Expertise
- Strong focus on Professional Services, particularly in cloud technologies.
- Expertise in consultative selling, with an emphasis on cloud-based solutions.
- In-depth understanding of cloud platforms, particularly AWS and Azure.

Education & Certifications
- High school diploma or regional equivalent required.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field preferred (or equivalent professional experience at the manager’s discretion).
- AWS and Azure sales certifications are advantageous but not mandatory.
- Additional certifications in cloud technology training are a plus.
Experience
- A minimum of 15 years of experience in a relevant field.
