Responsibilities & Duties

  • Collaborate with product management to analyze customer specifications and define website user requirements.
  • Handle a range of web development tasks, from minor content edits and publishing to developing new functionalities, coding redesigns, optimizing web architecture, and managing website backups and migrations.
  • Provide development and support for internal and external websites, servers, and integrations, ensuring compliance with security, governance, accessibility, data capture, and API requirements in coordination with internal engineering teams.
  • Maintain and support the employee intranet built on SharePoint.
  • Offer technical support and web development assistance to business partners.
  • Work closely with UI designers, product managers, marketing, enterprise architecture, and operations teams to implement wireframes, develop templates, and enhance end-to-end digital user experiences.
  • Research and apply modern website performance and design techniques, including parallax scrolling, Bootstrap, website analytics, and tagging strategies (e.g., data layer pushes, Pendo, etc.).
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in a computer science-related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience in web development.
  • Expert-level proficiency in WordPress or Kinsta.
  • Experience with SharePoint is required.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service and research abilities.
  • Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects efficiently.
  • Problem-solving skills, including simplifying complex tasks and analyzing code structures.
  • Familiarity with online marketing, web development, new media, and UX/UI principles.
  • Technical expertise in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS for web-based applications.
  • Prior experience working in a highly regulated industry (such as insurance, banking, finance, or healthcare) is a plus.
