Responsibilities:
- Support daily operations of Local Area Networks (LAN), Wide Area Networks (WAN), Wireless Networks, and AWS Cloud environments by monitoring performance, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Administer network security and access through firewall management.
- Maintain accurate records of system downtime and equipment inventory.
- Apply firmware and software updates, collaborating with vendors for technical support and maintenance.
- Configure and optimize networks to ensure seamless and reliable operations aligned with organizational objectives.
- Ensure connectivity across servers, workstations, telephony systems, fax machines, and other network devices.
- Manage network assets, including maintaining inventory, documentation, and technical specifications.
- Contribute to the implementation and management of network security solutions.
Skills and Experience Requirements:
- Proven expertise in designing and implementing LAN, WAN, WLAN, WWAN, AWS Cloud, and SD-WAN solutions.
- Hands-on experience with Cisco, Juniper, and Arista routers and switches, including QoS, VLANs, VTP, EIGRP, BGP, HSRP/VRRP, and 802.1x protocols.
- In-depth knowledge of network hardware, protocols, and standards, such as Cisco Nexus, Cisco Catalyst, Silverpeak SD-WAN, Palo Alto and Fortinet firewalls, TCP/IP, DNS, and MPLS.
- Extensive experience with Palo Alto firewall administration, Panorama-based management, IPSec tunnel builds, and IDS/IPS modules.
- Proficiency in remote access solutions, including client VPN, small office VPN, and business-to-business VPN.
- Experience with VoIP phone systems (Lync, Avaya), IP telephony, H.323, and SIP protocols.
- Strong background in enterprise wireless infrastructure with Aruba wireless controllers, Aruba Airwave, and Aruba ClearPass.
- Hands-on experience in AWS and Azure cloud environments, including load balancers, inspection VPC, and transit gateways.
- Excellent understanding of organizational goals, strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
- Ability to research and resolve networking issues independently.
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills with a customer service-oriented mindset.
- Capable of prioritizing tasks effectively in high-pressure environments.
- Team player with a collaborative approach and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent time management, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
- Minimum of 6 years of relevant professional experience.
