Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, System Security, Network Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, with 6+ years of relevant experience
  • Advanced education may substitute for experience
  • Equivalent relevant experience may be considered in place of formal education
  • Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform (preferred), Ansible, CloudFormation, ARM Templates, Chef, or Puppet
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines (YAML-based), including AWS, Azure, and GitHub
  • Strong understanding of engineering principles and best practices
  • Hands-on experience deploying applications in production environments
  • Expertise in DevOps methodologies, including continuous integration, automation, and monitoring
  • Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and security best practices, particularly AWS and Azure
  • Strong grasp of security principles, including authentication, authorization, encryption, and vulnerability management
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm
  • Advanced scripting and automation skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on mitigating vulnerabilities and threats
  • Experience implementing and maintaining compliance controls
  • Expertise in Red Hat Enterprise Linux and Windows Server virtualization and deployment
  • Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance with eligibility for Top Secret/SCI

  • Professional Certifications, such as:
    • ISM: CAP, CISSP, or CISM
    • ISSE: CAP, CISSP-ISSEP
    • ISSO: Security+, CISA, or CASP+
    • MCSE or Linux Security Certification
