Education, Training, Experience, Certification & Licensure
- Graduate of an American Physical Therapy Association-approved program.
- Licensed Physical Therapist in the State of New York.
- Ongoing participation in orientation and continuing education to maintain and expand knowledge and skills.
- Annual competency assessments to ensure proficiency in treating patients across various age groups.
Skills & Qualifications
- Strong oral and written communication skills for effective collaboration and patient education.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with patients and team members.
- Strong time management abilities to efficiently handle multiple responsibilities.
- BLS for Health Care Providers certification required.
- Lymphedema certification preferred.
Work Environment & Safety
- Clinical setting with Exposure Class I – potential exposure to blood, body fluids, excretions, or secretions.
Physical Demands
- Requires medium physical effort, including:
- Frequent lifting, bending, stooping, and twisting.
- Pushing, pulling, climbing, and prolonged walking or standing.
Compensation
- Pay Range: $38.55 – $56.40 per hour
- Salary is based on experience, skills, education, and location.
- Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will receive pay within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates.
