Occupational Therapist – Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to provide high-quality care and support to individuals in need. This role involves evaluating and assessing individuals, developing personalized treatment plans, and ensuring the effectiveness of therapeutic programs. You will play a vital role in enhancing independence and improving quality of life for those we serve.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop effective treatment plans to meet individual needs.
  • Administer therapy programs and communicate treatment goals to staff for seamless implementation.
  • Monitor progress, adjust treatment strategies as needed, and manage a caseload efficiently.
  • Develop personalized home exercise programs and conduct home evaluations to support continued progress.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, including service reports and therapy schedules, ensuring compliance with program goals.
  • Actively participate in rehabilitation team meetings, conferences, and program development initiatives to enhance service delivery.
  • Collaborate with physicians, caregivers, and professionals to ensure a coordinated and effective approach to therapy.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy with at least one year of experience in human services.
  • Neuro-rehabilitation experience preferred.
  • Valid OT/L license in the state and active membership with the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA).
  • Valid driver’s license, vehicle registration, and auto insurance.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A compassionate, reliable, and professional approach to service.
  • Commitment to excellence in patient care and therapeutic interventions.
