Requirements

Education:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not mandatory.

Experience:

  • Must achieve 90% or higher on the Interpreter Assessment.
  • One year of interpreter experience, or a combination of education and experience, will be considered.
  • Preference given to current team members certified under the Tyson interpreter program or those with a language certification from an academic institution.

Communication Skills:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate with all levels of plant management.

Computer Skills:

  • Basic computer literacy and typing skills required.

Special Skills:

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong organizational, decision-making, and follow-up skills.
  • Must be a team player to coordinate and provide support when needed.

Travel:

  • A valid driver’s license is required for travel to external medical appointments.

Language Requirement:

  • Spanish proficiency is required.
