Occupational Therapist
Overview
Outpatient Therapy Services provide essential support to patients requiring speech, occupational, and physical therapy, as prescribed by their physician. Our goal is to enhance mobility, function, and overall well-being through specialized, patient-centered care.
Role Purpose
The licensed or registered Occupational Therapist (OT) delivers expert occupational therapy services, including comprehensive evaluations and personalized treatment plans, to support patients in regaining independence and improving daily function.
Key Responsibilities
- Develops and implements individualized treatment plans, considering discharge needs, expected functional status, and necessary equipment or supplies.
- Educates and collaborates with patients, families, and healthcare providers, offering recommendations for referrals to specialists when needed.
- Delegates tasks to assistants, technicians, and students while assessing their competency to ensure the highest quality of patient care.
- Completes thorough documentation in alignment with departmental policies and standards.
- Conducts assessments, reassessments, and consultations to continuously optimize Occupational Therapy services.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy (OT)
- Experience: No prior experience required
- Licenses & Certifications: Occupational Therapist License
Preferred Qualifications:
- Education: Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy (OT)
