Responsibilities

Job Description

  • Load and securely transport products from the Medline facility to delivery trucks.
  • Safely operate a Class B vehicle along designated routes, making multiple stops at customer locations.
  • Follow Medline’s safety protocols, including wearing required safety gear and conducting routine safety checks.
  • Unload and deliver products to customer facilities on schedule while ensuring accuracy.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, addressing inquiries and ensuring proper documentation upon delivery.
  • Communicate with the dispatch team to make necessary adjustments to routes or schedules while prioritizing safety and efficiency.
  • Maintain detailed travel and cargo logs in compliance with federal, state, and company policies.
  • Perform vehicle inspections to confirm safe operation and sufficient fuel levels.

Required Experience

  • Valid U.S. driver’s license.
  • Commercial Learner’s Permit (CLP) for Class B License or a Class E License (if required by state).
  • Minimum 2 years of driving experience.
  • Ability to meet all federal and state regulations for commercial vehicle operation.
  • Clean driving record with no major violations.
  • Ability to lift and transport up to 50 lbs frequently.

Preferred Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
