What You Need to Succeed as a Truck Driver at XPO
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Possess a valid Class A commercial driver’s license (CDL)
- Maintain a safe driving record
- Currently have or be willing to obtain hazardous materials, tank vehicle, and doubles/triples endorsements within 90 days of employment
- Pass a DOT drug test with no prior positive results or refusals in the past three years
- Hold a valid DOT Medical Certification Card or pass a company-paid DOT physical
- Available for a flexible schedule, including shifts up to 12-14 hours per day, covering day, night, and weekends

- Forklift experience

Your Typical Day as a Truck Driver:
- Safely operate a tractor-trailer combination, including doubles and triples
- Deliver exceptional customer service, including identifying sales opportunities
- Load and unload freight efficiently
Physical Requirements:
- Lift objects of various shapes and sizes, frequently up to 50 lbs. and occasionally over 75 lbs.
- Move and position a converter dolly (average weight/pull force: 128 lbs.)
- Safely enter and exit a tractor cab/trailer
- Sit for extended periods in a truck tractor and/or on a forklift
- Walk and stand for long periods on uneven or slippery surfaces, including outdoors in various weather conditions
- Reach overhead, bend, climb, push, pull, twist, squat, and kneel as needed
- Operate a tractor-trailer for up to 11 consecutive hours in all types of weather, transporting both hazardous and non-hazardous materials
