Key Job Responsibilities
- Design and develop automated, intuitive measurement pipelines, reports, and dashboards to support internal teams.
- Recommend new metrics, techniques, and strategies to enhance the overall customer experience.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and define data requirements.
- Facilitate data-driven decision-making by retrieving, aggregating, and presenting data in a clear, actionable format.
- Work closely with engineering and product teams to identify product gaps and emerging trends.
- Manage request intake and prioritize tasks in partnership with key stakeholders.
- Own the end-to-end design, development, and maintenance of ongoing reports, analyses, and dashboards to drive key business decisions.
- Engage in strategic and tactical planning discussions to guide data-driven initiatives.
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications by working alongside subject matter experts.
A Day in the Life
In this role, you will develop and implement advanced models and analytical tools, conduct statistical analysis, and work with large datasets to create tailored models and dashboards. You’ll play a critical role in designing scalable and reliable analytics infrastructure for ongoing reporting. Your work will involve solving complex problems, designing analytics solutions across disciplines, and delivering insights that shape strategic planning, product development, engineering improvements, marketing campaigns, customer service trends, and competitive research.
Basic Qualifications
- 7+ years of professional or military experience.
- 5+ years of experience working with SQL.
- Experience in programming to extract, transform, and clean large-scale (multi-terabyte) datasets.
- Proficiency in experimental design and statistical analysis.
- Hands-on experience with AWS technologies.
- Strong automation scripting skills (e.g., Python) and advanced SQL proficiency.
- Knowledge of information retrieval, data science, machine learning, and data mining principles.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience collaborating directly with business stakeholders to bridge the gap between data and business needs.
- Proven ability to manage, analyze, and present results to senior leadership.
