As a Maintenance Electrician, you’ll play a vital role in maintaining electrical equipment throughout the facility. Your responsibilities will include troubleshooting, repairs, and proactive maintenance to enhance machine reliability and process improvements. While adhering to plant sanitation practices, you’ll stay up to date with new technology and equipment relevant to operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Properly operate maintenance equipment, including hand tools, lifts, threaders, benders, drills, and welding equipment.
  • Install, troubleshoot, and maintain switch gears, control wiring, and components, including three-phase motor protection systems.
  • Design, program, and troubleshoot PLCs, VFDs, input/output devices, and associated control systems.
  • Read, update, and create electrical prints and documentation.
  • Install conduit, raceways, and fittings according to safety and compliance standards.
  • Utilize test equipment such as multimeters, megohmmeters, and process simulators.
  • Diagnose and repair both mechanical and electrical equipment.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • 2+ years of experience in industrial electronics or electrical-related work OR a 2-year technical degree or apprenticeship in a related field.
