Department Overview
The Walker & Dunlop Events Department is responsible for planning and executing events for both employees and external clients. Their primary focus is to create exceptional client experiences that maximize attendee value while supporting the company’s business objectives. The team also collaborates with Human Resources to enhance community engagement and strengthen marketing efforts aimed at fostering client relationships.

Working directly with the AVP | Events, you will contribute to business growth and the success of company-wide events.
We are looking for a detail-oriented, highly organized, and adaptable team player who thrives in a high-volume, collaborative, and creative setting.
Primary Responsibilities
- Assist with Asana project management for events.
- Support event operations by managing registrations, updates, reports, invitations, and surveys using Bizzabo and Cvent.
- Maintain and update RSVP lists for various events.
- Ensure accuracy of event data in Salesforce by updating records, creating campaigns, tagging contacts, and generating reports.
- Assist with post-event tracking and reporting, including finalizing documents, updating budgets, and recording attendance.
- Coordinate the creation and printing of event materials such as name tags and escort cards.
- Help manage branded items, conference supplies, gifts, and event giveaways.
- Coordinate the logistics and shipping of event materials to off-site locations.
- Assist in scheduling and organizing meetings, conferences, and departmental events, including calendar coordination and Outlook invites.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Work Schedule:
- Standard hours: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM EST, Monday – Friday
- Up to two remote workdays per week
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
- 1 to 3+ years of experience in a corporate setting, with a background in analytical, administrative, technical, and interpersonal tasks.
- Event management experience preferred.

- Familiarity with Cvent, Bizzabo, and Asana is a plus.
