The Role: Events Coordinator

Redgate is seeking an Events Coordinator with a passion for supporting and executing multiple events. If you’re a hands-on, detail-oriented professional who enjoys working in a dynamic environment, this role is for you!

As part of the Events Team, you will play a key role in delivering Redgate’s event program, which includes both sponsored third-party and hosted events. Reporting to the Events Marketing Manager, you’ll be involved in end-to-end event execution, including leading booth crews on-site at select events.

This position operates in a flexible hybrid model, supporting a healthy work-life balance. Candidates must reside near Austin, TX, with two in-office days per week required.


Your Responsibilities at Redgate

  • Oversee coordination of Redgate’s hosted and sponsored events.
  • Manage event marketing efforts, including scheduling and setting up pre/post-event emails via Marketo.
  • Lead and brief booth crews at events, ensuring attendee engagement aligns with Redgate’s event experience standards while motivating teams to meet event KPIs.
  • Research, negotiate, and secure venues for Redgate-hosted events, lunches, and dinners.
  • Develop event agendas, ensuring topics and speakers are relevant to target attendees.
  • Collaborate with the brand team to approve event materials, including displays, print collateral, social media ads, swag designs, and web content.
  • Create event fact sheets and fully brief crews before events.
  • Manage event-related inboxes and calendars, responding to internal and external emails professionally.
  • Maintain relationships with external vendors and event organizers.
  • Work closely with the Events Marketing Manager to define event objectives and KPIs.
  • Handle pre- and post-event attendee administration using tools like Excel, Marketo, Salesforce, and Microsoft Planner.
  • Conduct retrospective meetings and post-event reports to assess success and track KPIs.
  • Support team members in delivering successful events from start to finish.

What You Bring to the Table

  • 2+ years of experience coordinating hosted and sponsored events.
  • Experience managing national and international event calendars both independently and within a team.
  • Strong skills in event management software, including Excel, Marketo, and Salesforce.
  • A proactive, team-oriented mindset with excellent social and networking skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and quick decision-making under pressure.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize effectively, and optimize workflows.
  • Hands-on experience with post-event reporting and analysis.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience coordinating B2B events within the tech industry.
  • Flexibility to work outside standard hours for events in different time zones.
  • Willingness to travel nationally and internationally as needed.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce, WordPress, and Marketo is a plus.
  • Experience in marketing communications and digital marketing (email and social media) is advantageous.

  • Base Salary: $65,000 – $85,000
