Key Responsibilities:
- Install, remove, maintain, modify, troubleshoot, and repair electronic equipment.
- Run, pull, terminate, and splice cables, as well as install routers, switches, multiplexers, and cable trays.
- Generate reports, fulfill new service requests, and determine the best methods for electronic equipment installation.
- Under direct supervision, evaluate and implement moderate equipment modifications, including call switches, test trunks, and test links.
- Assist in responding to emergency system failures and troubleshooting technical issues.
Qualifications:
- Education: Associate degree (AA/AS) or equivalent work experience.
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of electrician/maintenance experience, preferably in shipboard installations.
