About the Job

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Tax Principal to join our team, playing a key role in driving the growth and excellence of our tax practice.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership – Oversee and manage the firm’s tax services, developing and executing strategies to enhance client satisfaction and business expansion.
  • Client Advisory – Provide expert tax advisory services to a diverse clientele, including individuals, corporations, and partnerships, ensuring full compliance with current tax laws and regulations.
  • Team Development – Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing tax team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
  • Business Development – Identify and pursue new business opportunities, while building and maintaining strong relationships with both existing and potential clients.
  • Regulatory Compliance – Stay up to date on tax legislation changes and ensure the firm remains compliant with federal, state, and local tax laws.

Qualifications

  • Education – Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certifications (CPA, JD, LLM) are preferred.
  • Experience – Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in tax services, including at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Technical Expertise – Strong knowledge of federal, state, and international tax laws, with a proven track record in tax planning and compliance.
  • Leadership Skills – Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and develop a team, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Business Acumen – Proven experience in business development and client relationship management, with a strategic and growth-oriented mindset.
