Position Overview
We’re looking for a Graphic Artist (more than just a “designer”) based in Indianapolis—someone with professional experience creating original digital artwork and high-quality designs for print, web, and social media. In this role, you’ll collaborate with our team to define and evolve the HotBox Pizza visual identity, from bold illustrations to engaging digital campaigns.

Key Responsibilities
- Illustration – Develop original artwork that captures the HotBox Pizza personality across various marketing channels.
- Print & Digital Design – Create eye-catching materials like menus, packaging, store signage, digital ads, and social media graphics.
- Brand Development – Help shape and refine HotBox Pizza’s visual identity by producing cohesive, compelling brand elements.
- Website Updates & Maintenance – Use WordPress to update graphics, visuals, and layouts for ongoing improvements.
- Photography & Editing (Preferred) – Capture product and lifestyle shots, then edit them to align with brand aesthetics.
- Collaboration – Work closely with the marketing team to brainstorm campaigns, plan photoshoots, and bring creative ideas to life.
- Project & File Management – Keep projects organized, maintain brand consistency, and meet deadlines.
Qualifications
- Professional experience in graphic design
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign), with a focus on original illustration
- Strong digital portfolio showcasing illustrative work, brand development, and layout design for both digital and print
- Solid understanding of typography, color theory, and layout principles
- Experience with WordPress (or similar CMS) is a strong plus
- Photography skills (shooting and basic editing) are a big advantage
- Strong communication skills to share ideas, gather feedback, and collaborate effectively
- Detail-oriented with the ability to juggle multiple projects in a fast-moving environment
Bonus Points for:
- Animation or motion graphics experience (After Effects, Premiere)
- Hand-lettering or other unique artistic techniques
- Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS
